My dear friends

2008 is coming to its end, and if in many ways this year has been a difficult one ( personal and global ) many departures,, pain and sorrow…  the last few months were brightened by positive signs, hope, and beautiful moments.. we have often shared ...  shows and movies, but also events like Barak Obama’s election … a light

My family and friends ( including my web friends) have been a warm presence.. thru the good and the bad times …


The shows ( Marseille, Arles et Paris ) have been like a big party , and I would like to thank all those who made it possible :

and, of course, thanks each and everyone for joining us  !!!!!

The Cannes Film Festival 2008 was a magic moment  /  I was happy to see the work of artists and friends I love and respect receive unanimous acclaim … I ‘m proud that I ‘m a small part of Leonera, directed by Pablo Trapero, featuring Martina Gusmàn, Laura Garcìa and Rodrigo Santoro … un gran abrazo // Pablo, Martina, Rodrigo, the crew and everyone at Matanzacine, big up Agustina Llambi Campbell...  congrats to everybody for all the awards all around the world...

And in December, we went to Bangkok for Nigel Bennett’ s short movie.. another big adventure …and I hope all the energy and love will show on the screen ... " First Impressions"  dir. Nigel Bennet ( 10' Canal+ collection "écrire pour..." fév 09) thank you Nigel , Gordon Spooner , Christophe Arnaud, the actors Maxime Leroux et Chatree Saleewong and Canal+ : Pascale Faure, Jean-François Lacoux, Brigitte Pardo, Pascal Aznar

and still more music  : dec 23rd @ Gystere's studio ( who' s working on the upcoming Frères 200 cd ) with Lydie Jay ( & Anza ):  a surprise for 2009 !

I can’ t answer all your messages individually,  but I can assure you that, sooner or later, I read them all and I want to thank you , they mean a lot to me…
